My son has a rare genetic disorder known as Williams Syndrome. Statistically of all the battles children with WS face, speaking is not one of them. My son however, falls in a very rare percentile of children with WS who have severe language delay. We began speech therapy when he was 14 months old using various approaches. My son never babbled, he never even made sounds other than a cry. I continued to press on therapy getting him as much as I could afford with the hope that one day I would know the sound of his voice. At 2.7 years my son spoke his first words although there was no meaning to them. We continued with aggressive speech therapy and when my son turned four, we met Natalia through chance. At that time he was using mostly single word to two word utterances which were mostly unintelligible. Natalia began using PROMPT speech therapy with him, helping him to position his mouth so that his diction became clear and teaching him expressive language through highly motivating play. He has been working with Natalia regularly since then and is now speaking intelligible sentences with meaning and purpose. Natalia has been able to build on his skills and expand his speech abilities with her knowledge not only as a speech and feeding therapist but also of sensory integration, ABA and PROMPT speech therapy. The energy she brings to the session and her commitment to improving the ability of my son makes her skills invaluable. We are very lucky to have her as part of our team!

Our twin daughters have been working with Natalia Rowe for just over a year. Throughout the year, we have noticed a definite improvement in all areas of the twin’s communication skills. She started with conducting diagnostic tests to get a clearer baseline of the kid’s abilities and issues. From there, she developed a very well–reasoned course of therapy for both Briana and Fiana and they continue to benefit from Natalia’s skills and experience.
Having Natalia come to our home twice a week was the perfect solution for us–it definitely put my daughters at ease and certainly made our lives infinitely easier; Natalia was always on-time and ready to jump right in. Our daughters warmed to Natalia immediately (not surprisingly, given Natalia’s warm personality and engaging demeanor) and looked forward to her sessions every week, constantly asking “Is it Natalia day?”
Natalia is so wonderful. At every session I was impressed by her patience, thoughtfulness, preparedness and creativity. In fact, I often found myself drawn to the rug where she worked with my daughters, so I can learn to better model phrases for them when Natalia’s not around, not to mention her stellar assortment of toys and books: every session had its own unique theme.
In summary, we consider ourselves very lucky to have worked with Natalia’s professional expertise and personal quality.

I have a pleasure of knowing Natalia Rowe who has treated several children receiving therapy services at Yeled V’Yalda ABA Program. I am happy to attest that Natalia is a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist who specializes in the treatment of children who are diagnosed with Apraxia and ASD. She employs excellent clinical practices in her work. She builds excellent rapport with her students, makes good clinical decisions, and serves as a knowledgeable consultant to our ABA staff. Natalia has also presented a very well-received series of staff training lectures on the subject of Apraxia of Speech in ASD children. She is a pleasure to work with. Natalia has proven to be a committed and reliable employee and she has excellent inter-personal relationship with staff members and parents.

It is my pleasure to recommend Natalia as an excellent speech therapist. We noticed that our daughter had been having problems with speech when she was about 1.5 years old. Several different therapists were called for help, but we saw almost no progress at all. It was a terrible time when you realize that the most important person in your life is struggling, and there is really nothing you can do to help.
When Natalia came to our house, we were literally crying for help ready to give up hope. In just 2 weeks she was able to achieve the results that others were not able to do in more than 8 months. Every time Natalia came to our home, she would bring some creative tools and toys for our daughter to learn. She would come with a huge bag full of “the tools of the trade”, and our daughter would continue to make progress. The progress was not exponential, it had its ups and downs, but we could definitely see that progress was being made. We would not have been in a place where we are today if it wasn't for Natalia's hard work and creativity, and for that we are eternally grateful.
If you are looking for a speech therapist who is extremely patient, who would construct an individual program specifically for your child, and who would actually be able to make a difference in your life, then look no further. You have found her.

Natalia and Katya are the best speech therapists I met in NY area. They are highly professional in their field and use an individual approach for each child. The classes are conducted in a playful manner and my son likes it a lot. My child has an articulation problem, and I was very much impressed that he could produce proper sounds after a couple of speech therapy sessions. Another important aspect is that the office has a child friendly atmosphere. When I need to talk to Natalia or Katya, my son can climb the Swedish wall or play with toys. It's a pleasure for me and my son to work with Natalia and Katya. Highly recommend!

Shaul was born with very low muscle tone throughout. From an early age of 3 months he had lots of therapy: OT, PT, and speech. He is now starting to walk at 4 years old. The agency gave us the 4 best speech therapist we had and, by the time he was 3, they did not get him to say one sound. He started school and the speech therapists there did not believe he was ready to make sounds and talk, so they chose to work on Alternative Communication. When Shaul turned 4, I happened to be speaking with a friend who told me about Natalia and how she got her son to start saying words, also after many speech therapists. I called her up in November and she came and diagnosed him with apraxia. Right away we started sessions. First, he said "aaa", "ma", "mama", "baba", "vava" and "oo". And now in June after 7 months of therapy, he is starting to connect "baba" for "bubbles", "bamba" and "bye-bye", "mama" for "mommy", "mo" for "more", "ba" for "ball", "ga" for "gummy bear". Honestly, I am amazed. A year ago, when I went to his end of year party in school, I couldn’t imagine him saying "mama".

My son was diagnosed with ASD and apraxia at the age of 3 1/2. Although the diagnosis did not come till after the age of 3, he was receiving speech therapy from the age of 1 1/2. My son's speech consisted of two open vowel sounds, "ah" and "ee". We went through 3 speech therapists with minimal progress before someone recommended that we try Natalia, stating that she is a PROMPT expert. She started working with him a little prior to the age of four. Within a year of Natalia working with my son, we not only had a large variety of vowel sounds, but we had anywhere from 50-70 words, included the much awaited, "mommy". Natalia did not just provide him with the ability to produce words, but the foundation that allowed him to further his expressive and receptive language. We are forever grateful.

We are very lucky to have Natalia as our daughter’s speech therapist. She immediately recognized our daughter’s needs and was able to educate us (the parents) about the diagnosis of speech apraxia and what it would entail going forward. Natalia’s expertise goes beyond speech pathology. She takes a holistic approach to treating apraxia while recognizing and addressing other symptoms that our child has. Our daughter absolutely adores Natalia and looks forward to every session with great anticipation. It’s only been a few weeks, but with regular therapy and clear home instructions we already see progress in our daughter’s speech and the positive attitude towards learning new skills. Thank you, Natalia, for your expertise, incredible positive energy and the special connection you have with our daughter and her family.

Taking a look at how it began. My premature baby was growing up – yes, there were delays, especially in speech and comprehension. When he was about 3.9 years old, a miracle happened. We hit on Natalia Rowe. Starting with sounds, then moving to words, then building sentences – we clearly saw progress. Once the words came about – the comprehension started kicking in. My son is apraxic, has an ASD diagnosis, behavior issues + more – Natalia does it all! We owe her everything!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

When my three year old daughter was diagnosed with apraxia of speech (different that just a regular articulation disorder), Natalia was recommended to us as a PROMPT therapist.
I felt confident from the initial phone conversation that she was an experienced, skillful professional. She was easy to communicate with and took the time to answer all of my questions.
After our evaluation session, Natalia helped me understand my daughter's speech disorder and what needed to be done to overcome it. Natalia also demonstrated in-depth knowledge of current research, explained the benefits of PROMPT therapeutic approach and used it to create a tailored individual therapy program for my daughter.
What was equally as important to me was her ability to connect with kids. Not only did Natalia keep the therapy sessions targeted to my daughter's therapeutic needs, she also made them fun and engaging. It's not easy to keep a three year old focused for 45 minutes to an hour, but Natalia managed to do just that. My daughter loved going to therapy and asked me throughout the week when the next session was going to be.
I started noticing improvement in my daughter's speech very quickly. And after about 6 months of therapy (usually once or twice a week), the results were excellent. Our friends and relatives also commented on how much clearer my daughter's speech had become.
I would highly recommend Natalia to other families.
